The original Home Farm building
The original farm accommodation is to the left of the building - here the front door opens onto a big modern fully fitted kitchen which gives access to a huge double bedroom on the right and a lobby on the left. This houses the laundry equipment and has doors to a separate bathroom and toilet.
This newly installed fitted main kitchen is equipped with a wide range of appliances including a dishwasher, an American-style fridge/freezer (or icebox), microwave, oven, induction hob and an extractor unit.
There is also a wine store, and a table that can be expanded to comfortably seat eight. A big log-burning fireplace provides a cosy focus on winter evenings. The original staircase leads up to a landing with doors to the salon and the master bedroom suite.
This bedroom offers a cool retreat in the heat of summer. It has a large deeply comfortable double bed and another antique French double bed. This small double bed is suitable for modern folk probably only as a single or an extremely cosy double. The room has a walk in dressing room, Chinese rugs and French Doors opening onto the front terrace; from there it's only a 30 metre saunter into the swimming pool or a gentle perambulation around the flower beds.
This bedroom with fine views across the valley has a king sized double bed, antique bedside furniture and fitted cupboards. The ensuite bathroom is brand new with a walk-in shower and French doors opening onto the rear terrace. It is above the downstairs kitchen.
